June 7, 2019
With summer right around the corner, it is time to remind you that June 17th is the due date for the second quarter estimated tax payments. If you are required to make estimated tax payments, use the payment vouchers that you received following the completion of filing your 2018 returns.
If you have not finalized your 2018 taxes and you believe that you may owe estimated tax payments, please call the office so that we may assist you in determining how much you should remit to the IRS and the state.
Remember, if you do not pay enough tax by the due date of each payment period, you may be charged a penalty even if you are due a refund when you file your income tax at the end of the year. Further, you must ensure that your payment is postmarked by Monday June 17th to avoid additional penalties.
If you have any questions regarding your estimated tax payments, please call the office at 541.388.7888.
We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to hearing from you soon.
