Greg Hoard has been a licensed CPA in the State of Oregon since 1995. He graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with an emphasis in accounting. He became a Certified Treasury Professional in 2001 through the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and is certified by Intuit as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. His accounting career began with Coopers and Lybrand in Eugene where he served as a member of the audit staff.
Greg brings a broad business background to SGA, having worked in numerous industries over his 30+ year career. Prior to joining SGA, Greg worked for the past 13 years as the Vice President of Finance for a family owned real estate development and hotel management company. Greg has extensive experience working with multi-entity and family owned companies, which provides a unique perspective when working with this type of organization. Prior work experience was in the credit and collection field and Controllership for a timberland management and real estate company.
Born in Oregon, Greg’s enthusiasm for the outdoors led him to settle in Bend, where he enjoys cycling, water sports, along with x-country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter months. He is also a Master Recycler, certified by the Lane County Public Works, Waste Management Division.
Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association for Financial Professionals. He has been a reader in the SMART program in past years and is currently a member of the 100+ Men of Central Oregon, a local philanthropic organization.
